Power plant map: plants worldwide by fuel, capacity and owner
Sherpa Atlas maps power plants worldwide, operating, under construction and planned, by fuel and capacity, on the same map as the high-voltage grid, substations and data centres. Country editions go further, with every project registered with the grid operator and its owner.

Questions
The power plant map: questions
Which plants are on the map?
Power plants worldwide, operating, under construction and planned, by fuel and capacity; country editions add every project registered with the grid operator.
Where does the data come from?
Every record carries its sources and the date it was last checked: grid operators, regulators and governments, planning authorities, company announcements and the press. Nothing is estimated where a figure has been published; where no figure is published, the record says so.
Is it free?
